Important notice regarding change of associations

Posted: 30 June, 2025 13:38

We have changed the association we are affiliated to from the Traditional Shotokan Karate Association (TSKA) to the England Shotokan Karate Union (E.S.K.U.) and aligning ourselves more closely with Sensei John Euden’s Thanet club, where several of us have trained over the years.

We appreciate all the support given by TSKA and its members over the years, however this is a natural progression for our club, where we have always had close ties with Thanet. Known for its exemplary training and a warm welcome, the training at ESKU is of a very high standard and will help us all develop our karate to a high level as our own club continues to grow and flourish.

Training will continue as normal in regard to our club fixtures.

Any questions, please ask me.

Sensei Terry

Congratulations to everyone that passed their grading on Saturday. You all worked really hard and demonstrated excellent effort and spirit!

New, additional training day

Posted: 04 January, 2025 05:17

We have a new training day starting on Tuesday, 7th January in studio 2, 8:00pm - 9:30pm. This is to add flexibility for some that can't always make Wednesdays and also offer additional training time which will be especially useful for 3rd kyu's and above!

I look forward to seeing you there!
